Jerzy Duda-Gracz was a Polish painter, graphic artist, and professor. He was born on August 15, 1941 in Wrocław, Poland and died on March 6, 2004 in Kraków, Poland. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław in 1968 and shortly after, became an assistant professor at the same academy. He later became a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, where he taught for over twenty years. Duda-Gracz was known for his figurative paintings that often featured surreal, dreamlike elements. He also created illustrations for books, posters, and graphic design projects. Some of his most famous works include "The Angelic Conversation" and "When Angels Come to Earth." His artwork can be found in museums and private collections all over the world.
